Prontos easily connect to one or multiple printers enabling you to direct order items to the appropriate printer. Intuitive interface for easily adding and configuring kitchen printers. This allows businesses to send different order items to specific printers as tickets for the bar, appetizer, salad and other kitchen stations are printed separately.

A USB printer connects directly to your iPad using a USB cable. This means it is used with a single POS device.

Connect the USB cable to the printer.
Connect the other end of the USB cable to the iPad
Ensure the printer is powered on.
On the POS, Log-in as Admin and select Printers.
Press Refresh Printers button. Your new printer should appear on the list.
Select the Printer and enable one or more Print Groups

A Wi-Fi printer connects wirelessly to your network, allowing it to be shared between multiple POS devices.

Ensure the printer is powered on.
On your iPad, download and open the Star Quick Set Up Utility app.
In the Utility app, select Start Guide-> Use Star Wireless LAN Unit
Follow the method-specific steps to select your network and enter the password.
Ensure the printer and POS are on the same network.
On the POS, Log-in as Admin and select Printers.
Press Refresh Printers button. Your new printer should appear on the list.
Select the Printer and enable one or more Print Groups

A local area network printer plugs directly into your router with an Ethernet cable. LAN printers can be shared between multiple POS devices.

Connect an Ethernet cable to the printer.
Connect the other end of the Ethernet cable to an available port on your network router or switch.
Ensure the printer is powered on.
The printer's IP address will print to confirm it's successfully connected to your network
Ensure the printer and POS are on the same network.
On the POS, Log-in as Admin and select Printers.
Press Refresh Printers button. Your new printer should appear on the list.
Select the Printer and enable one or more Print Groups

Connecting a USB printer to your POS device

A USB printer plugs directly into your iPad using a Lightning or USB-C cable. This means it is used with a single POS device.

Remove the bottom and side covers of the printer.
Connect the USB end of your lightning cable to the back of the printer in the slot marked iPad 2.1A.
Plug the lightning connector of the cable into your iPad.
Reinstall the bottom and side covers on the printer.
Press the Power button to switch the printer on.

Connecting a Wi-Fi printer to your network

A Wi-Fi printer connects wirelessly to your network, allowing it to be shared between multiple POS devices.

Remove the bottom and side covers of the printer.
(TM-m30 and m30II only) Ensure the wireless dongle included with the printer is connected to the printer's USB port. This dongle gives the printer its Wi-Fi capabilities.
Reinstall the bottom and side covers on the printer.
Press the Power button to switch the printer on.
On your iPad, download and open the Epson TM Utility app.
In the TM Utility app, select the Wi-Fi Setup Wizard.
Follow the prompts to select your printer model and enter the Wi-Fi name (SSID), security type, and password for the network you're connecting it to.

Connecting an LAN printer to your router

A local area network (LAN) printer plugs directly into your router with an Ethernet cable, ensuring a stable and reliable network connection. By connecting to your network, LAN printers can be shared between multiple POS devices.

Remove the bottom and side covers of the printer.
Connect the Ethernet cable to the back of the printer (port on the left) and plug the other end into an Ethernet port on your router.
